Kantju Gorge Uluru

August 27, 2008

Well, we are back from a bit of a break in the Northern Territory of Australia (as anyone who has been checking the words part of the site will know) - sorry about having to look at the skate park for one month, but now I've had a chance to scan some of my plastic holiday shots in, I can offer some variety.
This image (apart from some basic colour cast correction and dust removal) is as it came from the scanner, I swear I did not tweak the saturation at all. It is taken in the beautiful Kantju Gorge section of Uluru, the largest monolith in the world, located in Central Australia.

Hey Cameron... Been a while. ;) I'm really digging your stuff. This one and the skate park actually fit well together as opposites... warm/cold, natural/man-made edifices.

Brandon's right – the two work together really well. This, well this could be a painting.
